New Hunt and Ooops!

Well totally forgot to put here RGK's newest little line of cute and fun camis :) These were inspired by our lovely friend Viv, who owns Karfields, the shape shop right next door to the RGK main store. We ♥ her! LOL.

Anyway, at 45L each, these cute little numbers are a steal, and include all layers. Grab 'em while they're hot!

And speaking of hot, the Beach Bums Hunt started today, and we put together a cute prize for all you guys and gals out there. Hope you enjoy! The prize includes what we are calling 'umbrella hats,' funky beach sunglasses, a smear of zinc oxide to protect your schnozz while you're out in the burning sun hunting, and a tee for the guys and a cami for that gals. The pic gives you a better idea hehehe. The stops come in all layers.

Don't forget that the greeter will send you a notecard with hunt hints, so be sure to accept it when you get to the main store!

New Outfit and One-Day Bargain!

Woo hoo! Got a new full outfit out there today, and for one day only (today, Thursday June 10), it is available for more than 1/2 off at 55L!

Groovy Love Hunt prize

Hey hey, I know I haven't posted the prizes for the last couple of hunts I was in, sorry!!!! RL just caught up to me and haven't had much time to be at the computer! Hopefully once I'm all done teaching at the end of this month I'll have more time to devote to keeping things moving in RGK-land lol!

Anywhoo, I did have time to put together the ad for the latest hunt that started today, the Groove Love Hunt. My prize for this one is a set of Elven ears, the tattooed kind, tint-control by menu, and it's unisex!

Tattooed Elven Ears!

Ok, so I think it's no secret that the elven ears are the new hot thing, and I've kinda been snooping them out and scoping them out for a while. LOVE THEM and there are some great, ingenious designers out there who have made some really great ones!

I'm really excited and proud of this release, because I don't think I've seen this out there. And when I tried it out and Chippie and I played with the texturing, sooo pleased with how it turned out!

So, with that, we give you our first (and maybe SL's first???) tattooed elven ears - Nature I! (So you know there's going to be a Nature II, at least, right? LOL)

You'll notice we used a new shape, better shading, and with the new tat texture on the ears we've also included the requisite piercings as well ;) As the others, this is tint and color-changeable by menu, so you can match it to whatever skin tone you need!

I'm teaching myself about HUDs, so hopefully we'll have a hud-driven version at some point, but for now, WOOT!

I hope you all enjoy this new release as much as I am excited about putting it out there! We're working on several other tattooed ears, including styles that will be more unisex for all those male faes out there.

Sales and Hunts Oh My!

Well a bit behind on the blog sorry! LOL. RL and trying to push push push the building and creating, couldn't help but let something fall by the wayside oops.

(Sorry that the layout is a mess ... some of these blogger and layout features are not cooperating ... need to work on getting a new one).

Oooo, and there's other fun stuff going on :) Those of you who have been with RGK for a while probably know that we've always had a side of our business dedicated to profile pics, creation of logos, business items (like vendor displays) and custom signs/posters (like some of the hunt signs we've designed). New New New!

New release and new hunt!

This mid-week release we've gotten out there so we can have for you another Easter-themed set of neko tail and ears for you to enjoy! Whether you're getting dressed up for an event or just for the season, these will be perfect ;)

Be sure to grab last week's and this week's release while you can, because these sets of tail and ears will be gone after Sunday!

Also, the Diamonds In The Rough Hunt starts today!!! Chippie got a sneak preview of some of the items in the hunt, and some of the fashion blogs of posted about several of the outfits designers are offering, and they are ALL raving about them! Check out the hunt blog to see who is in it, and if you google "Diamonds In The Rough Hunt," you can see a few of the fashion bloggers who are raving about what they've previewed. This hunt is definitely time well spent!

Our hunt gift harkens back um ... Raffi's smartass sense of humor bwahahaha. The prize includes a woman's cami and an oversized-diamond ring that pays a "Show Ring" animation while you wear it, and also has a chat menu when you and your friends click (yes, we love chat menus!). We had a ton of fun coming up with this, hopefully you all will enjoy it as much as we did!

Spring Showers and Sales

Got a couple of fun things starting up today!

First off is the Spring Showers Hunt that kicks off today! This hunt is being organized by the SL Discovery group, which has organized several other really well-run hunts in the past. They have some great shops participating. Please follow the link that is to the right of this page for hunt hints and more.

For this event, you are looking for a blue, sculpted raindrop. RGK has put together what is, for now, a pre-release of our "Bunny" outfit for women. This cute and sexy outfit includes: Satin halter top and bikini shorts, sculpted bunny ears, sculpted shirt collar with matching bowtie, sculpted cuffs with bowtie buttons, and a fluffy bunny tail!

The next event we're participating in is the LOW Sale! LOW stands for "Letter Of the Week." It is a new idea that groups together some wonderful designers who all put one item up for sale that matches the Letter Of The Week. This week's letter is "A," so RGK is offering up its Allegiance neko tail, ears and matching armband for 60L, which is reduced by more than 50% from its usual 125L. You have all week to brows the participating shops, and on Sunday next week, we will offer another sale on a new letter!

Group Gift!

Yay :) The new main store is all finished up, and with it are some new features that we're excited about. I'll talk about those a bit later hahaha. Mostly, I'm excited about the upcoming new release, and the group gift that we sent out today!

Being busy with the new setup, we unfortunately haven't had a new release lately, and we also missed the boat for St. Patty's day funness. To make up for it, we're putting on a push to go all-out for Easter. We kicked it off with an exclusive group gift -- A set of our new "Peeps Galore" neko tail and ears in Exclusive Purple. The tail and ears will be released this weekend in limited edition Easter colors, so if you're not in the RGK Posse, hold tight! They're coming ;)

Now, we did say that there are a couple of new features in the new main store setup. Here they are:

GACHA! These are some fun machines that you see out and about in some shops and malls. Basically, it's SL's rendition of those gumball machines you see in RL grocery stores that dispense plastic bubbles that have temporary tattoos, cheapo-jewelry or fun little toys in them. We have two Gacha machines at the moment, and each one is loaded up with different stuff. One has the Gun Show camis in them, for 20L, and the other has some of the items that we put up in past hunts, those are for 15L. The hunt items in the second gacha, many come with re-size by menu scripts and texture-change options, so for 15L you really are getting WAY more than your money's worth! The fun in gacha machines is in not knowing exactly which item (or color of item, in the case of the camis) you will get.

MM BOARD! It's BACK! We took it down for a while but decided to bring it back because it's just a fun thing to have around lol. The big difference now is that it is up to our visitors to suggest what we should put in the MM Board. GRAB A NOTECARD FROM THE SIGN NEXT TO THE MM BOARD and fill it in to make your suggestion ;) Soooo, it only gets updated as often as we get suggestions from YOU! And yes, we will force the board before we log for the night if we see that some people have slapped the MM board ... we're on EST, so figure on it getting forced by around 7 p.m. SLT on most days, unless it locks down way before then.

As you can see, we've already gotten one suggestion from someone and have faithfully put it up there ;) We don't know what you want until you tell us, so be sure to let us know!

Still there is the Lucky Chair, which we're getting ready to update, and we are going to try to get one more gacha machine going. We'll see how it works LOL.

Dollarbie$ !!!!

Well who doesn't love a great deal? I know all of us do, especially when we're first starting out in SL and finding our way around, trying our best not to look like the noob we are. Even afterward, we STILL are in search for the holy grail -- AMAZING stuff for free, or close to free!

One of the best places I found when I was newer, was a dollarbie/freebie store that is very generously supported by Enky's, a fabulous shoe and accessories designer. My fondest memory was walking around first the store, admiring all the beautiful boots and shoes, realizing I didn't have enough L's to afford them, and then stumbling upon their freebie/dollarbie area, and walking away feeling like a million bucks ... and pretty much looking that way too.

Well, they've upped the ante -- they still have their great freebies and dollarbies (and beautiful shoes, fyi), but they've renovated their dollarbie clothing area by inviting some top-notch SL designers! We were SO very flattered when they asked RGK to be among them!!! Wow!!!!! It blew us away, let me tell ya LOL.

When Chippie went and visited to see what it was (she'd never heard of it before), she said she almost um ... well, I'll leave that off of here but you can guess what she said LOL. LeeZu, Sn@tch, MEB, and soon coming are Ohmai, and many many many more designers. All have some AMAZING offerings there. She wrote me this babbling IM, LOL, so I could tell it was a really great setup. Right now, RGK has just two items up: A set of NEW elven ears (with the tint-adjusting menu), and a set of neko tail and ears with original chat menu options. Once things have calmed down a bit on the renovation of the mall and Main Store, we're planning to add more.
Among the other many amazing items there are men's and women's shirts and jackets, shoes, dresses, jewelry and accessories, casual, formal oh my goodness. All of them for 1L!!!!

No matter what your dress, style, or gender, you WILL find something there for you. GO check it out, you will NOT at all be sorry.

Spring Cleaning Sale

If you've been by Thunderstruck Radio Land lately, you will have seen many of the big changes that have taken place there. Plants aren't the only thing growing this spring, apparently LOL! Karfields Shapes and Alpha-Delta Designs both have had to shed their old buildings and trade up to much larger ones! And, that means having to rearrange the layout of the mall. Exciting stuff!!!!

RGK, too, is growing out of what we once thought was a shop that we'd never be able to fill up ... So, we've also decided to trade up to a larger building. Before we do, though, there's some spring cleaning to do! With that in mind, Thunderstruck Radio Land is presenting to the public our Spring Cleaning Sale. Designers have placed some seriously marked-down items on carts not far from Thunderstruck's landing area for you to take advantage of ;) Participating designers include:

Alpha-Delta Designs, Adlerblick Shapes, Donna's Dizzle, Eluzions, Ironik Kitties, Rebel Fairey and RGK.

So far, of the vendors who have set up, nothing is over 55L! And that's with some really amazing clothes, hats, necklaces, shoes and even candles and home furnishings being offered. Stop by and check it out and catch some deals while they're still available. The sale runs to March 17th.

For RGK, I want to note that the items being offered in this sale are items we will be discontinuing. So, after the 17th, they will no longer be available, not even in our Lucky Chair! Grab stuff while they last!!!!

Sweet Sweet Shoulders

Well I completely missed blogging last week's release, LOL, but we had a set of Cupcake Love tees and Elf ears for that. Last week's tee's came with a little bonus snack :) I'll put the pics of those down at the bottom of this blog.

Cuz I wanna focus on this week's sweet releases! We've got a cute tee-shirt, that comes in 6 different colors, and "Good" and "Bad" cuppy shoulder pets! As with many of us ladies -- either because of New Year's resolutions, Lent, or whatever -- I'm on a diet, and the idea of that "Good and Bad Cupcakes" came to me while I was having one of my many internal battles with myself over whether or not to eat that brownie! LOL. Sooo, here they are! The tees are hand-painted cuppies with handrawn halo, wings, devil horns etc., and handrawn shading and wrinkles.

The shoulder pets are available individually, and also have been packaged together at a discounted price. They are made out of sculpted prims, and the angel and devil wings are custom textures, as is the smiley face and "bad" faces that the cuppies make (yes, they make faces while sitting so cutely on your shoulder! LOL), and they have cute chat menu phrases too! There are giant versions of the cuppies available at the Main Store, so you can see for yourself how fun they are :) If you'd like to gift them, they're available on my Xstreet as well!

HUNT EVERY ROSE!

Hallloooooo! SO EXCITED!!! Soooo excited that the Every Rose hunt starts in just a few short hours, and we get the HUGE honor of being the start location! Also very excited because I LOVE the idea of this hunt, very unique, as are all the hunts that are organized by Dani :))))

This cool hunt is kind of the "Anti-Valentine Hunt." While I think Valentine's is very pretty with the roses and the hearts and all that, I have to say that, I have never, EVER been a "bring me a bunch of roses and a box of chocolates" kind of gal. I have never really been a fan of Valentine's Day, so when Dani came up with the idea of this hunt, I was alllllll over it! LOL.

So, bring out the cynic in you, or with you hehehe, and join this amazing hunt! There are great designers participating in it, you truly won't be sorry!

For our prize, we really tried to keep in mind the spirit of the hunt, our very own cynicism over Valentine's, and also tried to honor the importance of being the starting point of this hunt. We've put together for everyone a unisex hunt prize, complete outfit. The outfit includes jeans with sculpted cuffs (unisex), tee shirt for guys -- although the women could easily pull it off too -- and tattered, bloody tank tops for the girls. The girls' tank top is sooooo tattered that there's a version with a band-aid covering a boobie, and a version without the bandaid BWAHAHAHAHA. There's also a unisex leg brace that goes with the outfit -- leather strap with a realistic human heart strapped to it with barbed wire, and a rasor blade crammed into it just for effect.

Sorry the pics aren't fancy, but I'm short on time :(( You get the idea though, and hope you agree that this is a prize worth lookin' for!
