GLBT Stamp Out HIV/AIDS Hunt Prize

It's been about a month since the last gridwide hunt I've participated in, so I'm ready for another one now ;) This one starts on Tuesday, December 1st, and runs until the 31st. It's a hunt with a great cause in mind: HIV/AIDS awareness. The hunt is called GLBT World Stamp Out AIDS hunt. There are many, MANY amazing designers participating in this hunt. I encourage everyone to show support for this cause by participating in this hunt, AND by making a donation of however much you are able to.

At each of the locations, you will be hunting for a red ribbon with a spinning globe on it, and we will have prizes for you right in there. As with other hunts, within the prize item will be an LM that leads you to the next shop in line. Also at each location, you'll see a donation kiosk -- a big version of the hunt item with the unmistakable hover text "Donation Kiosk" over it. PLEASE consider donating as you go on this hunt. 1L, 5L, 100L, whatever you feel you are able to donate.

This is such an important cause, and a personal one for many of us. For me, my cousin contracted HIV/AIDS, and unwittingly passed it on to her son while pregnant with him. They both live with this reality every day. Many millions around the world do.

My hunt prize item includes a unisex fedora hat, with a matching neck bow for the ladies'(similar to the one I released earlier this week), and for the men, a brand-new creation: A sculpted tie with a gold and silver tie-pin. Both the neck bow and tie pin have a prim into which you can drop a picture of an SL/RL loved one you wish to keep close to your heart.

I've chosen to stick with red ad the prize colors as it represents the color of the cause.

I hope you enjoy this prize, and the many prizes of all the participating designers. Be sure to check out the link to the GLBT World Stamp Out AIDS blog to check out the shops and other announcements (there are other events planned connected to this fund-raiser).
